Veneers are made of porcelain/ceramic material that covers only the front surface of your teeth. They are similar to crowns, but much more conservative in their preparation in the mouth.
Veneers are considered cosmetic and esthetic treatment as they improve the appearance of your teeth and generally not necessary to improve oral health. They are one of the many cosmetic and restorative procedures we offer here at Magnolia Dental.
The process of a veneer is very similar to the process of getting a crown done. However, it is common for temporary veneers to be worn for a few weeks prior to final cementation. Wearing the temporary veneers will allow the patient to “live” with the proposed final veneer shape, size and color before the final veneers are permanently cemented in the mouth.
